FACULTY POSITIONS
The Department of Engineering Sciences at the Middle East Technical
University, Ankara, Turkiye is looking for highly motivated academicians
for a couple of current openings at all levels. The department has
graduate programs in Computational Mechanics and Bioengineering.
Current openings for Ph.D holders or Ph.D candidates who are expected to
graduate within a year are:
- Faculty positions in Statistics.
- Faculty positions in Biomechanics.
- Faculty positions in Computational Fluid Dynamics.
- Faculty positions in Solid Mechanics.
Teaching duties include organizing and teaching new
interdisciplinary courses in their field of specialization and possibly
on engineering sciences. Applications will be considered until positions
are filled. The university has a semester system and the teaching load
is 6 hrs/week
As a part of the university policy to attract competitive young faculty
members, on campus housing is provided upon arrival for the duration of
five years with possible extension.
